1. Introduction

GHT activated carbon filter uses activated carbon as filter material, because activated carbon has good adsorption performance, can remove organic micro-pollutants (humic acid, chroma organic chloride, etc.), inorganic substances (heavy metals, residual chlorine, dim and so on). Activated carbon filter is the safeguard unit of circulating water system. When the effluent is abnormal, it needs to be advanced treated by activated carbon filter in order to meet the requirement of effluent quality index.。

Production sewage passes through the aeration tank, sedimentation tank, chemical sedimentation tank, and then the effluent enters the activated carbon filter to further adsorb refractory organic matter, in order to meet the requirements of effluent quality indicators. Equipment backwash is done manually.
